We’re a nimble marketing communications team of two, managing awards and generating marketing communications for the thing we love – food! Each of us work from our home offices collaboratively organising the Outstanding NZ Food Producer Awards, the New Zealand Champions of Cheese Awards, The New Zealand Chocolate Awards and the New Zealand Ice Cream Awards. Each of these Awards requires significant social media, website marketing communications support.
We’re looking for a like-minded soul to join our merry band. We offer great flexibility - work from home at the time of your choosing. If you know your Google analytics from your Facebook Insights and understand the why and how of digital storytelling, we need your help. While the role initially covers social media for the right person, there’s the scope to grow it into something bigger!
Tasks
- Build online community and engagement
- Develop monthly social media calendar for Marvellous Marketing clients including; Outstanding NZ Food Awards and Cheese Lovers NZ
- Answer and respond to social media comments at least twice a week
- Devise posts and content to drive traffic to relevant websites
- Work with newsletter editor to ensure content amplified across all channels
- Manage and update Google pages and review analytics
- Monthly social media reports
- Strategically boosting posts and undertaking advertising as required
- Update media reports
- You will require a good working knowledge of or be prepared to learn the following tools; Canva, Facebook Business, Squarespace and Google Analytics
